memori プライバシーポリシー

「memori」(以下、「本拡張機能」) は、ベンリー (benry.me、以下「当方」) が開発・運営する Chrome ブラウザ用拡張機能です。本拡張機能をご利用いただく前に、本プライバシーポリシーをお読みください。

1. 基本方針

本拡張機能は 「ユーザーの思考メモを最速で記録するためのプライバシー・ファースト設計」 を基本方針としています。

• メモの内容は ユーザーの端末内 (chrome.storage.local) にのみ保存 されます
• 当方のサーバー、外部分析ツール、広告ネットワーク等への送信は 一切行いません
• 個人を特定できる情報 (氏名、メールアドレス等) は取得しません
• 利用統計、トラッキング、行動分析等は実施しません

3. 音声入力機能と Google Web Speech API について

本拡張機能の「音声入力モード」は、Google Chrome ブラウザに組み込まれた Web Speech API (webkitSpeechRecognition) を使用しています。これは Chrome 標準機能であり、ユーザーが発話した音声データは Chrome を通じて Google の音声認識サーバーに送信され、テキストに変換された結果のみが本拡張機能に返されます。

• 音声データの送信は Google Chrome 自体の処理 であり、本拡張機能 (memori) は音声データを直接扱いません
• 認識結果のテキストは端末内 chrome.storage.local にのみ保存されます (Google から本拡張機能に返された後、外部送信は一切ありません)
• 音声入力機能は オプトイン です。ユーザーがマイクアイコンをクリックして明示的に有効化した場合にのみ動作します

プライバシー重視のユーザーは、音声入力機能を使用せず テキスト入力のみで利用すれば、本拡張機能から外部への送信は一切発生しません。

4. 第三者への情報提供

当方は、本拡張機能を通じて取得したいかなる情報も、第三者に提供することはありません。当方自身が情報にアクセスする手段も持ちません (全て端末内に閉じています)。

例外: 法令に基づく開示請求があった場合のみ、必要最小限の範囲で対応する可能性があります。ただし、当方が保持しているデータが存在しないため、実質的に開示できる情報はありません。

5. 必要なブラウザ権限

権限以外に、本拡張機能はネットワーク通信を行いません。

6. ユーザーの権利と操作

データの確認・エクスポート

• 振り返り画面 (オプション) から、保存されたメモを日付ごとに確認できます
• 「全期間 JSON エクスポート」機能で、全データを JSON ファイルとしてダウンロードできます

データの削除

• 振り返り画面の「全メモを削除する」リンクで、保存された全データを完全削除できます
• 本拡張機能を Chrome からアンインストールすると、保存された全データが自動的に削除されます

マイク権限の取り消し

• chrome://settings/content/microphone を開き、本拡張機能 (chrome-extension://...) を「ブロック」または削除することで、音声入力機能を無効化できます

7. クッキー・トラッキング・分析ツール

本拡張機能は、以下を 一切使用しません:

• クッキー
• ローカルストレージへのトラッキング ID 保存
• Google Analytics 等のアクセス解析ツール
• 広告ネットワーク
• 第三者の SDK

8. 子供のプライバシー

本拡張機能は、13 歳未満の子供を対象としていません。13 歳未満のお子様が本拡張機能を使用する場合は、保護者の方が本プライバシーポリシーを確認したうえで、利用の可否をご判断ください。

9. プライバシーポリシーの変更

本プライバシーポリシーは、機能追加・法令改正等に応じて変更されることがあります。重要な変更があった場合は、本拡張機能のオプション画面およびストア掲載ページで告知します。継続利用は変更後のポリシーへの同意とみなします。

"memori" (the "Extension") is a Chrome browser extension developed and operated by benry.me ("we", "us"). Please read this Privacy Policy before using the Extension.

1. Core Principle

memori is built around a privacy-first design philosophy: capture your thoughts as fast as possible without sending them anywhere.

• Memo content is stored only on your device in chrome.storage.local
• No transmission to our servers, third-party analytics, or ad networks
• No personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.) is collected
• No usage tracking, telemetry, or behavioral analytics

3. Voice Input and Google Web Speech API

The Extension's voice input mode uses Chrome's built-in Web Speech API (webkitSpeechRecognition). This is a standard Chrome feature: when you speak, the audio is sent through Chrome to Google's speech recognition servers, and only the transcribed text is returned to the Extension.

• Audio transmission is performed by Google Chrome itself, not by memori. memori does not access raw audio data.
• Transcribed text is stored only on your device (chrome.storage.local). After Google returns the transcript to the Extension, no external transmission occurs.
• Voice input is opt-in. It only activates when you explicitly click the microphone icon.

Privacy-conscious users can disable voice input entirely and use only text input — in which case no data leaves your device at any point.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not share any information collected through the Extension with any third party. We have no means of accessing the data ourselves (everything stays on your device).

Exception: in response to legally binding requests, we will cooperate to the minimum extent required by law. Since we do not retain any user data, there is effectively nothing to disclose.

5. Required Browser Permissions

The Extension performs no other network communication.

6. User Rights and Controls

You can perform all of the following at any time, without contacting us:

Inspect and export data

• Open the review screen (Options page) to see memos by date
• Use "Export full history as JSON" to download all data as a JSON file

Delete data

• Use the "Delete all memos" link in the Options page to permanently delete all stored data
• Uninstalling the Extension from Chrome automatically deletes all stored data

Revoke microphone permission

• Open chrome://settings/content/microphone and set the Extension origin (chrome-extension://...) to "Block" or remove it to disable voice input

7. Cookies, Tracking, and Analytics

The Extension does not use any of the following:

• Cookies
• Local storage tracking IDs
• Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Third-party SDKs

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If a child under 13 uses the Extension, a parent or guardian should review this Privacy Policy and make the decision on whether to allow such use.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated in response to feature additions or legal changes. Significant changes will be announced on the Extension's options page and on the Chrome Web Store listing. Continued use of the Extension after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
